 This is my Story

 Imagine waking up every day feeling utterly exhausted, your body weighed down by pain, and no hope in sight.  This was my reality for nine long years.  

Severe fatigue, cluster migraines, random, uncontrollable sleep attacks, chronic Insomnia, bloating, itchy and burning rashes all over my body, and debilitating back pain controlled my everyday life. 

I couldn’t drive or even get out of bed some days.  I missed out on countless quality times with my kids and family and friends.  Family vacations became a distant memory.  I could no longer focus on building my business because mental, emotional, and physical agony consumed me.

In my darkest moments, I turned to research and surrendered my struggles to God. As a woman who had only been a Christian for a short time, surrendering control to God was a first for me! And almost immediately after this total surrender, God gave me a vision – a vision to fast- to cleanse my body and mind. 

Faith and fasting became my first step towards healing.  It wasn’t easy to fast, but it was necessary.

Discovering food sensitivities led to an awareness of foods that were fueling my pain! I was empowered to make dietary changes that significantly reduced my symptoms.

Exploring cognitive behavioral techniques helped me reframe my thoughts and manage the emotional toll of chronic pain.  I learned to challenge my negative thinking patterns and replace them with positive, constructive thoughts.  This shift in mindset was crucial for my healing process.

I dedicated myself to learning techniques to calm my nervous system and prepare for sleep.  Quiet time spent in prayer, deep breathing exercises, and establishing a consistent bedtime routine were foundational in improving my sleep quality.  Soon I was experiencing restful nights again.

Through Faith, and these natural strategies, I was able to heal myself.  The fog of pain lifted.  Energy returned.  I started to reclaim aspects of my life that I thought were lost forever.  I regained the physical mobility to drive.  I now spend quality time with my kids and loved ones and fully participate in social activities, such as bowling and mini-golf. I found the mental clarity and focus to rebuild my business.  I reclaimed my joy and purpose and now lead a fulfilling life! Pain is no longer driving my life!

During my healing, God spoke to me, loudly, clearly and compassionately and told me to go out and share these healing strategies with others. 

And that is how I created the S.O.O.T.H.E.™ Method. This six-step approach is exactly what I used to heal myself. I reclaimed a life from the grips of pain and suffering! It's what I use to help my clients get healthy, too. To help you rediscover your joy and purpose and live the life you deserve and are worthy of!
